Mayor Greg Ballard often speaks about the importance of Indianapolis as a bicycle-friendly city in attracting employers and employees to Indianapolis. When Bicycle Garage Indy asked Mayor Ballard to video a welcome the National Bicycle Dealers Association P2 group to Indianapolis, he highlighted recent accomplishments for bicycling and why a bicycle culture is an important part of economic development in Indianapolis.
Bicycle Garage Indy is honored to have such an avid spokeperson and advocate for the benefits of bicycling in Mayor Ballard. We were thrilled when he agreed to make a video welcome to the P2 group, bicycle shop owners from around the country who were attending a conference Bicycle Garage Indy last month.
With the permission of the Mayor’s office, we’ve made this video available to the public on YouTube so viewers can see the progress Indianapolis has made in making Indianapolis a bicycle-friendly city.
